How Much Is UNISA Application Fee?

Anyone who wishes to apply to the University of South Africa will have to pay Unisa application fee of  R120. Applicants must note that this application fee is non-refundable. This means that whether or not the applicant gains admission, the R120 paid will not be given back to them.

  • Debit Cards- this will be accepted if the applicant or student registers in person at UNISA regional offices.
  • Credit Cards-  these cards are restricted to Visa and Mastercards. If the holder registers in person at Sunnyside or any of the UNISA regional offices. It must be noted that these are meant for real-time transactions.

How Do I Pay My Outstanding Fees?

To pay your outstanding fees, use any of the payment methods discussed above. Applicants and students must note that UNISA will not process anything for a student who has outstanding fees and they cannot re-register until they have settled all their old debts.

Can I Pay UNISA Fees With Capitec App?

UNISA is an approved public beneficiary at Capitec Bank so making fees payment with them is quite easier. Follow these steps;

  • Go on the app and click on transact
  • Select payment and key in your pin

Does NSFAS Pay Registration Fees At Unisa?

If a student is on NSFAS, they do not have to pay any registration fee. Students who are registered on NSFAS will have their registration and school fees paid by this bursary.

Can I Register at Unisa If I Have Outstanding Fees?

No, you will not be allowed to register with UNISA if you owe them. You will have to settle all outstanding payments before you are permitted to.
