Two Ways To Apply To UFH
You can apply to UFH in two ways. The online application and hardcopy paper-base application.
What You Need To Apply To UFH.
These are the basic requirement but essential things you need to get them ready before you even start to apply to UFH.
- National Senior Certificate or
- National Vocational Certificate
This means, your Grade 11 or Grade 12 examination certificate for the application must be ready.
How To Apply To UFH Via Online
You should note that, you can do UFH online application only on the institution’s website.
Again, online application to UFH comes with two different and separate forms for Undergraduate and Postgraduate applicants. Therefore, you have to make sure the forms you have picked are the qualification you want to apply for at UFH.
When you choose to apply through online; you will pay a cost of R80.00 which is not refundable.
What you need to apply online are:
- An email address, if you currently don’t have one, you will have to create one before you can continue to apply.
- South African applicants will need an ID Number. Foreign Applicant will have to provide a passport number. (Applicant below 18 years old will need a parent/guardian ID Number/Passport Number)
- You have to meet entry requirements and submit your application form and all the necessary documentation
- A non-refundable application fee of R80.00is payable by all applicants.
Hardcopy Paper-base/Manual Application
If you will like to opt for a hardcopy paper-based application and so you can manually fill your forms with a pen, UFH also will provide you with the service. What you will need to do is to download the official application forms from UFC website, or visit any UFH office near you and pick application forms.
After you have your application forms in hand in a hardcopy form, you then follow the filling instructions that are similar to that of online application.
Note that, R120 is the application fee for hardcopy paper-base Undergraduate applicants.
If you are Postgraduate applicant, you will also pay R250.
Fees for hardcopy application forms are also non-refundable to applicants.
Does UFH Has Residence For Students?
There is nothing to worry about in terms of accommodation, whether you are South African Applicant or Foreign Applicant.
UFH has residential accommodation for students who want the service, but applicants are required to apply for accommodation alongside the qualification application.
How To Apply For UFH Residence Accommodation.
You can apply and submit for residence accommodation with the qualification application but of different and separate forms. You will also pay a separate fee of R120 of residence accommodation forms.
NOTE: Application for residence fee is non-refundable and the closing date is November 30, 2020.
When you are granted admission and accepted into the university, you will need to pay a deposit of R1000 for residence accommodation.

What Next After Submitting Application Forms?
When you have followed the right processes and submitted your application forms, UFH will send you an SMS that will inform you of the status of your application, thereafter a letter of confirmation.
